Operation of comprehensive task force team to stabilize HANARO management

Description

The reactor operation is being delayed for several years due to multiple causes after the seismic retrofit of reactor building. It needs special efforts to restore the status as a national critical facility. The shutdown history of HANARO, the performance of SSCs and current management system, all issues related to HANARO operation were analyzed in order to optimize the operating system and enhance organizational stability. Following comprehensive measures were formulated to establish effective facility management system, to optimize the operating system and to promote its use: - Reinforcement of HANARO operating organization for stable operation and promotion of use; - Establishment of integrated system for among maintenance management, configuration management and aging management; - Establishment education and training system for improvement of operational expertise and technical advisory committee; - A rational budget allocation considering the characteristics of nuclear facility; - Renovation for improving the performance of HANARO; - Review and rearrangement of licensing based documents and procedures in conjunction with PSR; - Establishment and implementation roadmaps for use of HANARO; - Establishment measures to boost morale of HANARO operating organization and enhance safety culture; - Improvement of external environmental in order to strengthen communication with public and stakeholders
