A study on transport processes in leaves by a radioadsorption method

Description
Diffusion processes of the 14C-urea, 14C-glycine, 59Fe(III), 59Fe(III)-citric acid complex and 137Cs has been studied on corn leaf by radioadsorption method. Equations of transport processes and morphology of corn leaf tissues has been compared, thus active and passive transport were divided. A theoretical model was developed for diffusion, material flow and sorption phenomena of leaf tissues. The diffusion coefficients were determined on the basis of the technical and theoretical method.
