Description

The relation between radioemission parameters and magnetic field features were investigated in quiet and weakly disturbed regions of the Sun. The results of polarization measurements are given, observed in the period of July 24-28, 1982, characterized by a very low level of solar activity. Total solar disk was mapped at 8.3 and 3.7 GHz using the single disk radiotelescope TNA-1500 with a 64 m parabolic antenna. The measured Stokes parameters of polarization were corrected with parasitic polarization degree. Regions with small and relatively strong (more than 0.01) polarization degree were distinguished. The regions of strong polarization coincided with sunspot groups and plages. (D.Gy.)
