Access and reception conditions to the SOLEIL and the ESRF

SOLEIL is located in Saclay (Essonne, France). It is the French third generation synchrotron. It is opened for January 2008. Twenty light lines are usable for the worldwide scientific community. The ESRF is located in Grenoble and runs for the beginning of the years 1990. 42 light lines are available. The plans submitted to SOLEIL or to the ESRF are estimated and classified by committees: their scientific and/or technological quality and their use relevance of the synchrotron radiation are taken into account. For these two synchrotrons, two access types are possible: a free access for users who agree to publish their results and a charged access for users who demand the confidentiality of their results.
