Description
Various dislocation processes observed on b.c.c. metals and alloys during in situ straining experiments in a high voltage electron microscope, are reported at low and intermediate temperatures. Interaction of dislocations with forest or impurity obstacles and multiplication mechanisms are discussed, in the case of a high frictional lattice force on screws. Methods for quantitative analysis of recordings are developed. (author)
