X-ray tubes and X-ray tube housings for medical diagnosis
Description
The standard fixes the indications which have to be on the components and on the respective accompanying documents of an X-ray tube and of an X-ray source. The indications shall enable an installation and operation of the X-ray source as authorized. In this matter it is supposed that the user of an X-ray source has the necessary knowledge as regards radiation protection and the behaviour of X-ray tubes, e.g. concerning their load capacities. Abstract (German)
Die Norm legt fest, welche Angaben auf den Bauteilen und in den zugehoerigen Begleitpapieren zu einer Roentgenroehre und denen zu einem Roentgenstrahler vorhanden sein muessen. Die Angaben sollen es ermoeglichen, dass der Roentgenstrahler bestimmungsgemaess installiert und betrieben werden kann. Hierbei wird vorausgesetzt, dass der Anwender eines Roentgenstrahlers die erforderlichen Kenntnisse im Strahlenschutz und ueber das Betriebsverhalten von Roentgenroehren, z.B. bezueglich ihrer Belastungsgrenzen, besitzt.
