Description
The quasiparticle-phonon nuclear model is applied to calculate the neutron strength functions and to study the spin dependence for even-even spherical nuclei 54Cr, 62Ni, 74Ge, 88Sr, 92Zr, sup(96, 98)Mo, 144Nd. The s-wave strength functions are calculated for two spin values J=I0+-1/2. The functions S+ and S- are shown to be, as a rule, close to each other. The calculated s- and p-wave strength functions and the calculated spin dependence of the neutron strength functions agree with the experimental data
