Timing analyzer with continuous discretization

  • 1. Erevanskij Fizicheskij Inst., Erevan (USSR)

Description

Timing analyzer, which due to trigger pulse for controlled time interval initiates continuous discretization of analyzed signal with ∼22ns time intervals and their storage, is described. Then information is slowly read-out from a memory and processed. Analyzer is placed in four one-unit width modules of 'Vector' and CAMAC systems. It may be used for selection of comparatively small-amplitude short and rare signals from quasistationary noise processes. Analyzer is used for measuring the degree of electron filling circular accelerator orbit using recording of time distribution of extracted electron-photon beams
