Modeling of tokamak ergodic divertor by twist map

Description

The symplectic twist mapping is proposed to model the magnetic field line dynamics in the ergodic divertor of the tokamak plasma edge. The mapping is specified for the dynamic ergodic divertor for TEXTOR-94. It is applied to formation of the stochastic layer and field line diffusivity at the plasma edge. (orig.)
