Description
Quality assurance of clinical diagnostic ultrasound equipment is best performed daily by those clinical personnel who use the equipment daily. Such a quality assurance program consists of daily procedures necessary to maintain proper and consistent equipment operation. For clinical personnel to implement such a program, availability and understanding of the various phantoms and test objects is required in order to conduct the routine performance tests
