Computed tomography of ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysms

Description

The computer tomographic appearances of ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysms are described, with particular reference to localisation and haematoma formation. Emergence CT is recommended as the method of choice for investigating ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysms because of the wealth of information and high diagnostic precision. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Der computertomographische Aspekt des rupturierten abdominalen Aortenaneurysmas wird dargestellt unter besonderer Beruecksichtigung von Rupturlokalisation und Haematomanordnung. Die notfallmaessige Computertomographie wird aufgrund ihrer Informationsfuelle und diagnostischen Praezision als Methode der Wahl bei rupturiertem Bauchaortenaneurysma empfohlen. (orig.)
