Axion hunt in Italy
Creators
Description
The axion is the first elementary particle discovered since 1995 thanks to the PVLAS (polarization of the vacuum by laser) experiment of the national institute of nuclear physics of Legnaro (Italy). Such a particle, if this is the one really observed during the Legnaro experiment, would give help to solve the mysteries of the missing mass of the Universe and and the disappearance of antimatter.
