Description
Szilard-Chalmers cation recoil effects have been studied in Na, K, Rb, Cs exchanged forms of the synthetic zeolite A. The effects measured depend upon the nature of the cation, the presence of water and heat pretreatment as well as the presence of other cations. In the course of these studies the effect of calcination temperature on the exchange of the cations present in the zeolite also has been ascertained. (author)
