Filter system for radioactive fluids
Description
The invention relates to a filter device for separating relatively appreciable amounts of radioactive material in a filter cartridge of small volume from fluid flows, e.g. from the coolant of a nuclear reactor. In exchanging the filter cartridge and eliminating the deposited particles, the service personnel is exposed to negligible amounts of radioactive radiation only. The filter cartridge is exchangeable, the exchange is done by a special valve device; further components relate to safety against radiation. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Filtergeraet zum Abtrennen relativ betraechtlicher Mengen radioaktiven Materials in einem Filtereinsatz von kleinem Volumen aus Fluidstroemen, z.B. aus dem Kuehlmittel eines Kernreaktors. Beim Auswechseln des Filtereinsatzes und bei der Beseitigung der abgetrennten Teilchen ist das Bedienungspersonal nur wenig radioaktiver Strahlung ausgesetzt. Der Filtereinsatz ist ausbaubar, die Auswechslung erfolgt durch eine spezielle Ventileinrichtung, weitere Bauelemente betreffen Sicherheit gegen Strahlung. Die einzelnen Komponenten der Anlage sind ausfuehrlich erlaeutert. (UWI)Files
