Experimental study of Nd: YAG laser head reflector with selective interferometric coatings

  • 1. State Technical Univ., St. Petersburg (Russian Federation)

Description

Experimental study results of Nd:YAG laser head reflectors with standard metallic and selective interferometric coatings are presented. The influence of coating type on laser thermooptical characteristics were analyzed by means of thermolens measurement. It was shown that in the case of a reflector with interferometric coatings, thermolens is two times less than in the case of metallic coatings
