Description
It is a nonlinear, deforming and destructing process to excavate in the underground roadways. a three-dimensional finite element program-ANSYS was used to calculate the excavating process of roadway in a uranium mine. The effect of the different excavating steps on the stress of rock stratum is discussed, which provides the theoretic guidance for the safety of excavation. (authors)
