On Sachs' Lemma in general relativity

Creators

  • 1. Trinity Coll., Dublin (Ireland)

Description

The conditions for the validity of Sachs' Lemma, concerning the classification of Einstein's vacuum field equations into 'main equations', a 'trivial equation' and 'subsidary conditions', are weakened in a natural way leading to a more general conclusion and an alternative grouping of the field equations.
