Description
Equivalent dose rate caused by natural radionuclides in building materials and natural environment was evaluated and compared in this work. It is established that equivalent dose rate of ionizing radiation varies from 0,3 nSv/h above the lake surface to 183 nSv/h near certain building structures. The measuring results of radionuclide activity concentration in building materials are also presented in the work. The maximum of radionuclide activity concentration is determined in expanded clay, the minimum - in gypsum. (author)
