Field reversal by rotating waves

Description
Rotating waves have been suggested as a means of generating current that, in turn, can produce a compact-torus configuration. The practicality of this scheme is assessed with regard to stability and power requirements. The method of generating current is compared to other methods of non-Ohmic current drive. (author)
