Effect of isothermal annealing in unsaturated cadmium vapor on the thermal stability and infrared transmission of cadmium telluride

Description
Conditions for cadmium telluride plate annealing in unsaturated cadmium vapors are defined to produce thermostable hemi-insulating material with the optical transmission value making up 62-66% within 2-200 μm region. Bistability and transmission increase phenomena in the IR spectrum region of samples annealed are discussed. 8 refs., 2 figs., 1 tab
