Construction of concrete hot cells
Description
The standard applies to rooms which are enclosed by a concrete shielding (hot cells) and in which the normal operation is performed without remotehandled devices. This concerns in general chemical processes with radioactive materials or the storage of radioactive materials (e.g. interim products liquid wastes). The standard supersedes edition Nov. 1984. Die Norm gilt fuer Raeume, die mit einer Abschirmung aus Beton umschlossen sind (Heisse Zellen) und in denen der Normalbetrieb ohne Fernbedienungsgeraete ablaeuft. Hierbei handelt es sich im allgemeinen um chemische Prozesse mit radioaktiven Stoffen oder um die Lagerung radioaktiver Stoffe (z.B. Zwischenprodukte, fluessige Abfaelle). Ersatz fuer Ausgabe 11/84.
