Measurement of the branching ratio for τ-→e-νeντ

Description

We report a new measurement of the branching ratio for the decay τ-→e-anti vevτ. The data were taken with the High Resolution Spectrometer at the PEP e+e- colliding beam facility operating at √s=29 GeV. The result is B(τ-→e-anti vevτ)=(17.0±0.5±0.6)%. (orig.)
