Separation of Re(VII) and Mo(VI) by D301 macroporous weakly basic resin
- 1. Department of Chemistry, Shaanxi Teacher's University (China)
Description
The properties of adsorption and separation of Re and Mo from H2SO4-(NH4)2SO4 solutions have been investigated. The static experiments indicate that the maximum adsorbtion rate (E) of Re takes place within pH 3-6 and that of Mo is observed at about pH 6. The separation coefficient (β) of both reaches maximum βRe/Mo = 2277 at pH 4.0. The presence of SO42- in aqueous solutions decreases the E of Re. The dynamic experiments show that the D301 has great capacities for both Re and Mo. Re and Mo can be eluated selectively by 8% NH3·H2O + 10% NH4NO3 and 10% (NH4)2CO3 respectively. Therefore Re and Mo can be separated completely
