Influence of irradiation parameters on damage accumulation in metals and alloys

Description

Influence of irradiation on radiation damage accumulation is discussed on the basis of experimental data in thermonuclear reactors. Impact of grain boundaries, originating in clusters of inter nodal atoms, formation of displacement cascades, energy of primary knocked out atoms and helium atoms formation are considered. Experiments for revealing the mechanisms of the occurring and for the quantitative determination of changes in discharge capacity and migration of vacancies clusters and inter nodal atoms are proposed
