Adaptation of a generic model to solve flows and pressures hydraulic networks for the solution of electrical networks

  • 1. Inst. de Investigaciones Electricas, Gerencia de Simulacion, Morelos (Mexico)

Description

A generic methodology to solve any electrical networks is proposed and presented. Two original algorithms to group nodes jointed by breakers only and to partite the matrix into independent subsystems are included. The electrical networks of a nuclear power plant and of a geothermal power plant are simulated and compared versus the results of their respective simulators. The global result is an 'easy to understand and use' program which yields quite reliable results and, considering training features, a good understanding of the physical phenomenon. (author)
