Results intercomparison in natural U O2 samples uranium determination for IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) analytical quality control program

Description

The modified Davies and Gray method for uranium titration to analyse nuclear materials is the procedure used by the CDTN's chemical laboratory. Its analytical performance was evaluated through the precipitation in two intercomparison programs with the International Atomic Energy Agency. Samples of natural uranium dioxide, SR-1 and SR-50, were analysed. The precision and accuracy of the measurements are reported and discussed in this paper. (author). 7 refs., 1 fig., 3 tabs
