Case studies of urban management through BIM models: CYPEURBAN in the municipalities of Ribas Vaciamadrid and Teulada
Description
The problem that exists in the time of granting planning licenses is something that is well known by all construction stakeholders, especially among real estate developers. The slowness of this arrangement implies an increase of the total promotion cost, affecting not only the promoter but also the buyer and all the agents in the construction process. It seems obvious that the solution to streamline these formalities is through the digitalization of the processes carried out by this arrangement, and specially by betting on the BIM technology to manage planning issues in a faster and more rigorous way. CYPEURBAN has been developed by CYPE with the technical advice and supervision of the Real Estate Developers Association of Madrid (ASPRIMA), fruit of a collaboration agreement whose objective is to streamline and improve the quality of the analysis and validation process of urban regulations through BIM models.
