Description

The paper describes the work carried out in Armenia to establish and strengthen regulatory control over radiation sources, including the development of legislation and regulations, the establishment of a national registry of sources, and the development of licensing procedures and training programmes in the area of radiation protection and the safe use of radiation sources. The paper also describes the Regulatory Information System of ANRA, inventarization and licensing process of radiation sources, implementation of the IAEA Code of Conduct on the Safety and Security of Radioactive Sources in Armenia.
