Description
Using the available bibliography, the importance of radiotherapy for the treatment of tumors in the sella area is shown. Treating hypophyseal adenomas, excellent results can be obtained by means of intensive interdisciplinary cooperation. According to the indications, treatment is carried out either by radiotherapy on its own or in combination with surgical measures. The optimal treatment of craniopharyngioma in most cases consists of biopsy and cystectomy with directly following radiotherapy with high doses. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
(orig.)Additional details
