Sensitivity of the nuclear dissipation on entrance channel parameters in heavy-ion fusion reactions

Description
In the earlier studies, experimentally measured charged particle and neutron evaporation spectra for the symmetric systems shows the significant deviations from the statistical model predictions but it is consistent with the statistical model predictions for the asymmetric systems. The dynamical model calculation (HICOL) was used to explain these deviations, which suggests that for the symmetric systems the angular momentum ℓ contributes in the fusion is less than classical ℓ = ℓmax, calculated by the statistical model calculation (CASCADE). This difference in the angular momentum is caused by the nuclear dissipation present in the entrance channel. In the present work, we have tried to investigate how the nuclear dissipation depends on the entrance channel parameters and the results will be presented during the conference. (author)
