Description

Pulse galvanostatic method has been used to study a diffusion of sodium and oxygen ions in bronze Nasub(x)Vsub(2)Osub(5) of #betta#-type. In the low temperature range (< 673 K for Na+ and < 833 K for O2-) the activation energy of the ion diffusion increases with x increase, and near the Nasub(0.33)Vsub(2)Osub(5) composition sharply decreases. On the base of IR-spectra data the changes in the vanadium-oxygen skeleton take place in this range. It is supposed, that the complex phase transition takes place in bronze in the range of high temperatures (> 673 K); this transition is followed by redistribution of the sodium ions by the possible positions in the crystal
