Description

An account is given of large-scale structure morphology, first focusing on the distribution of galaxies within 3000 km/sec, and then adducing evidence for the likelihood of structure at the scale of 30,000 km/sec. A one-dimensional two-point correlation analysis indicates that Abell clusters within 0.1c in the south galactic hemisphere are strongly correlated at short projected spacings; the analysis neutralized potential biases due to obscuration and incompletion with distance. Abell clusters within 0.1c in the south also tend to lie in the plane defined by nearby galaxies: the supergalactic equator. 6 refs
