Regularities of formation of composition of films obtained by evaporation of Cu alloys with Sm,Gd,Dy,Tm

Description
X-ray electron spectroscopy combined with ion etching was employed to investigate the composition of films obtained by evaporation of binary alloys. It is shown that the main factors affecting the composition formation of the films, obtained by evaporation, are the form of the state diagram liquid - vapour for the alloy in question, the evaporation rate, the conditions of the heat removal from the substrate. The main influence of these factors is confirmed by the study of the composition of thin films, obtained at a complete evaporation of the alloys SmCu6, SmCu2, SmCu, Sm2Cu, Sm4Cu, GdCu6, GdCu4, GdCu2, GdCu, Gd2Cu, Gd4Cu, DyCu6, DyCu2, DyCu, Dy2Cu, Dy4Cu, TmCu6, TmCu2
