Description

Description of program or function: TAPE is a general file copying utility for VAX VMS and non-VMS files. It is especially useful for writing formatted (ASCII) VMS disk files to unlabeled magnetic tape in fixed-length (EBCDIC) IBM format (RECFM=FB) and vice versa. Additional features include: tape-to-tape copying without re-formatting (for binary files); and generation of tape maps and dumps
