Approach to the definition of NET
Description
The European Fusion Community has recognized the need to begin the detailed definition of the main large fusion device to be built after JET as part of the strategy towards the Demonstration Reactor. This device, called NET (Next European Torus) should complete the demonstration of the scientific feasibility of fusion and prove the feasibility of the basic technologies of DEMO. (author)
