Organization of M-6000 computer operation on-line with experimental apparatus
Description
Data Acquisition System for high-energy experiments is described. CAMAC system, display unit and printer are connected with computer via 4-wire sequential link. This permits to organize work with a remote experimental set up. The data acquisition program is written in assembler language in order to minimize size of memory ( 3 K words), and to provide high speed. The program can be turned to a new CAMAC configuration and a new structure of hystogrammed data by replacing constants in corresponding tables. It could work both independently, and together with user's program written in fortran, basic or assembler langauges. The program is applied in the experiment on the study of relativistic positronia and for detector calibrating
