Organization of M-6000 computer operation on-line with experimental apparatus

Description

Data Acquisition System for high-energy experiments is described. CAMAC system, display unit and printer are connected with computer via 4-wire sequential link. This permits to organize work with a remote experimental set up. The data acquisition program is written in assembler language in order to minimize size of memory ( 3 K words), and to provide high speed. The program can be turned to a new CAMAC configuration and a new structure of hystogrammed data by replacing constants in corresponding tables. It could work both independently, and together with user's program written in fortran, basic or assembler langauges.
