Description

The presentation reviews the progress which has been made in developing a new Technical Baseline and summarizes the current status of the project, discusses key physics issues which are the subject of ongoing research, and reviews the opportunities and challenges involved in successful operation of ITER, highlighting issues of specific relevance to plasma control needs. A reference project schedule (from 2007 to 2018 - date of the first plasma) is given. This document is composed of an abstract followed by the presentation transparencies. (author)
