CP-violating dilepton asymmetry in a statistical model of B0 decay

Description
We construct a statistical model of B0 decays, in which the final state contains a multiplicity of pions determined by a Poisson or phase-space distribution. The model enables a calculation of the average CP value of hadronic configurations associated with the quark transitions b→c bar cd, b→c bar ud (bar cud), and b→u bar ud. Following Altomari, Wolfenstein, and Bjorken, we calculate the dilepton asymmetry parameter a which is a measure of CP violation in the mass matrix of the B0-bar B0 system
