Timing with large area plastic scintillator counters

Description

The performances of large area plastic scintillator counters for time measurements are investigated. The results show that it is possible to obtain time resolutions of the order of 0.5 ns for electrons releasing in the counter energies of the order of 1 MeV. (Auth.)
