Errors and risks of X-ray diagnosis in urology
Creators

Description
Errors are mostly technical errors when instruments are used. Complications may be due to the application of contrast media; also the radiation exposure values must be care fully calculated when planning an X-ray examination as the mean gonadal doses are not negligible in urological X-ray examinations. Finally, misinterpretation of X-ray pictures may happen even to the most expert. These errors can be reduced to a high degree by optimum cooperation between urologists and radiologists. Abstract (German)
(orig./MG)Additional details
