Description
Meeting the demands of the present and the future requires innovation. Often, innovation occurs through teamwork in which people with different talents and skills work together to achieve mutual goals. A team experience can be either positive and fruitful or frustrating and unproductive. A positive team experience offers greater potential for innovation. What supports a positive team experience? Under what conditions do people feel connected and engaged? What can a team do to increase the likelihood of being creative and innovative? This paper offers answers to these questions and applies to teams working in a variety of applications. (authors)
