Lie-algebraic approach to nonlocal symmetries of integrable systems
Description
The recursion operator for a wide class of evolution equations integrable by the inverse scattering transform is given. For obtained hierarchies of integrable equations a method for creation of the nonlocal symmetries algebra is suggested. The correspondent complete set of dynamical variables is found. It turns out that all nonlocal variables are integrals of densities of conservation laws. The structure of obtained equations is shown on an example of the Zakharov - Shabat (AKNS) hierarchy
