An investigation into the possibilities and utility of an IKO gamma-ray facility, pt. 2

Description

The bremsstrahlung tagging technique is discussed. Experiments using this technique have already been performed at Illinois, Stanford, Hamburg and Daresburg. A brief survey is given. The instrumentation requirements of a photon-tagging facility are considered. Count rate estimates are presented. It is concluded that competitive count rates should be obtained for photon scattering and neutron spectrometry in the giant resonance and for hadron photoproduction in the delta resonance region
