Experimental investigation of large area diode for a hundred-joule KrF laser

Description
Experimental investigation is described of a large area diode for a hundred-joule level KrF excimer laser pumped by an intense pulsed electron beam of 100 ns. The total electron beam energy of higher than 8 kJ is obtained at the electrode separation of 20∼22 mm, Marx generator voltage of 1.1∼1.2 MV diode peak voltage of 620∼670 kV and diode peak current of 150∼170 kA. The maximum output energy of 106 J is achieved for the KrF laser beam
