Licensing of food irradiation facilities
Description
In licensing a food-irradiation facility two sets of requirements should be dealt with. The facility uses a big radiation source for the purpose of treating food. It follows that the first set of requirements for a facility are the requirements of radiation protection and the second set of requirements have to do with the way food will be processed. This paper deals with the first set of requirements and the registration of a facility
