Description
The most important uranium occurrences are discussed, according to the following hostrock types: alkalic igneous; sedimentary, metaconglomerate and granitic rocks. The uranium-molybdenum deposits in the Pocos de Caldas Plateau, the U3O8 reserve in the Parana basin and the uranium and gold occurrences in the Quadrilatero Ferrifero area are described. The new uraniferous province found in 1973 in the Serido geosyncline is also mentioned
