Aspects of recent radioactive beam experiments at GANIL

  • 1. Paris-11 Univ., 91 - Orsay (France). Inst. de Physique Nucleaire

Description

Experiments with very neutron-rich radioactive beams produced at GANIL with the LISE3 spectrometer are presented. The two first subjects address the structure of halo nuclei using Coulomb excitation and reaction mechanism methods. The last one concerns half-life and Pn measurements of neutron-rich nuclei which lie at or close to the N=28 magic shell with some relevance to astrophysical problems.
