Comparison of effects of continuous and fractionated gamma irradiation

Description
A dose - effect function was studied in experiments on albino mongrel male mice exposed to 6-, 12- and 18-day continuous and fractionated γ-radiation (137Cs). Comparison of the data obtained showed no distinctions betWeen 6- and 12-day exposures whereas 18-day continuous irradiation proved to be less harmful than fractionated one. The values of LD50 were 1820 and 1245 R, respectively
