Description

Sensitivity study on source terms of BWR severe accidents was performed using the THALES/ART and REMOVAL codes with an emphasis on the effect of ex-vessel thermal hydraulic models for the level swell and entrainment during the suppression pool flashing following a containment failure. The ranges of containment break size for which these effects become important were identified
