Neptunium determination by luminescence of crystallophosphor CaF2:Np in visible spectrum region
Description
Calcium fluoride, activated by neptunium, at cooling up to 77 K luminesces within red spectrum region with the most intensive maximum at 651 mn. Luminescence lifetime constitutes 524±20 μsec. At luminescence excitation by nitric laser pulse radiation and single-electron pulses recording the detection limit constitutes 0.5 billion1- with reference to calcium fluoride. Crystallophosphor preparation conditions and quenchers effect on luminescence intensity and lifetime are investigated. Error of neptunium determination by the addition method does not exceed ±25% for confidential probability 0.95
